This position offers a rare balance of over-the-road transport and hands-on equipment operation on high-stakes government infrastructure projects. Your multifaceted skills will directly drive site productivity within a team culture that deeply values individual contributions. How You Will Make an Impact
- Mobilize heavy machinery and construction supplies to active jobsites during very early morning hours.
- Load commercial trucks safely with dirt, aggregate materials, and heavy equipment.
- Operate a diverse fleet of construction equipment and tractors to support multi-trade field crews.
- Perform material pickups from regional suppliers and vendors to maintain strict daily timelines.
- Transition seamlessly between driving commercial transport vehicles and operating on-site machinery.
- Execute pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to uphold zero-accident safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with site superintendents and foremen to streamline daily project logistics. Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator or commercial truck driver.
- Possession of a valid Class A CDL with a completely clean driving history and zero accidents.
- Absolute comfort and willingness to perform both heavy equipment operation and commercial driving duties.
- Strong background handling site logistics, material transport, and early morning machinery mobilization. Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive experience operating earthmoving equipment on public school or federal jobsites.
- Demonstrated history transporting heavy construction equipment via low-boy trailers.
