Box Truck Driver Express Employment Professionals - 3.8 Pleasanton, CA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $25 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Customer communication Box truck Load & unload Full Job Description Job Overview Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm 24 Ft Box Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving and delivery operations Load and unload cargo efficiently using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed Deliver products to customers or job sites promptly while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude Verify delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation of all shipments Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory management, moving goods, and organizing storage areas Follow designated routes and schedules diligently to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and time management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent with a clean driving record Proficiency in operating box trucks with manual transmission and familiarity with heavy lifting techniques Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items repeatedly throughout the shift Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, load & unload procedures, and vehicle maintenance
