Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking a Class B Driver for our Healthcare division to safely transport and handle hazardous and medical waste for healthcare customers. You will operate Class B vehicles with hazmat materials, ensure compliant packaging, loading, and documentation, and follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety procedures. This role includes performing pre/post-trip inspections, completing manifests, interacting professionally with customers, and using handheld or onboard systems. You'll work closely with operations teams, support environmental protection goals, and maintain a clean, safe vehicle and work area at all times. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B trucks to transport hazardous and healthcare waste Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs Ensure proper packaging, loading, and securement of hazardous materials Complete all required manifests and regulatory documentation accurately Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety and compliance procedures Provide professional customer service at healthcare facilities and client sites Coordinate with dispatch and operations for routes and schedules Use handheld or onboard systems for routing and tracking Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of vehicle and equipment Report incidents, maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly Required Skills Class B commercial driving Hazmat material handling DOT regulation compliance Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Load securement and material packaging Manifest and documentation completion Route planning and navigation Use of handheld/onboard fleet systems Customer service at client sites Safety and incident reporting
