Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight safely and efficiently across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of specialized trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. Your expertise in truck driving and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and security Manage various types of freight, including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other specialized cargo Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays while maintaining compliance with Hours of Service regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times, load status, and any issues encountered during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, inspections, and maintenance records in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and recent experience operating tractor-trailers with manual/automatic transmissions (3 years minimal) Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery across diverse terrains Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and cargo handling Physical ability to perform duties that may involve lifting heavy loads or working in various weather conditions Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, customers, and team members Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
