- Either Dry Van or Flatbed Flatbed runs generally start at 6:00 a.
m. and usually run for 10 hours per day Dry Van runs generally operate from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. What You'll Be Doing Haul battery crates on a Class A flatbed to local dealerships. Freight is no-touch, and the routes require careful maneuvering in tight spaces. Haul water in a 53-foot dry van on drop-and-hook runs averaging 16 miles round trip. Remain available for both flatbed and dry van runs as needed. What You Need Valid CDL A 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
