Overview We are seeking a dependable and professional Transportation Driver to safely transport residents and clients across various destinations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to customer service. This role involves transporting individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, children, and individuals requiring specialized care, in a safe and respectful manner. Duties Safely operate buses, vans, or other commercial vehicles to transport residents, clients, and staff to scheduled appointments, outings, or events. Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws and company policies at all times. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs. Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure optimal operation. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information and assistance as needed while demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Follow all safety protocols related to transportation of vulnerable populations such as seniors or children. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance reports as required. Experience Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving roles, preferably within healthcare, senior care, or educational settings. Knowledge of traffic regulations and safety standards related to passenger transportation. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Experience working with children or seniors is highly desirable, along with familiarity in behavior management techniques. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance checks is preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining passenger safety. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters trust and comfort among passengers. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
