Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery towing equipment, to transport vehicles from accident sites, breakdowns, or impound lots Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to prepare vehicles for transport or resolve simple mechanical issues on-site Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Perform automotive diagnostics and automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness Load and unload vehicles with precision, adhering to safety standards and manual transmission operation techniques Assist with vehicle recovery operations, including accident scene management and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and ensuring a positive experience during stressful situations Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving and car towing with a valid driver's license suitable for heavy-duty or commercial vehicles Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform minor mechanical repairs and basic vehicle troubleshooting Familiarity with flatbed tow trucks, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and safe vehicle loading practices Knowledge of cargo securement protocols to ensure safe transportation of various vehicle types Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, conflict management, and adherence to traffic laws Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while managing conflict effectively when dealing with distressed customers or challenging scenes Basic understanding of automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and vehicle recovery towing procedures Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving skills meet your mechanical expertise!
