Physical Certification Construction material transportation Construction hauling Full Job Description Heavy Haul - Class A Truck Driver Drivers load, secure, drive, and unload construction equipment and components to customer locations and suppliers related to the construction industry. Ability to safely load and unload a wide variety of construction machinery with little to no supervision, several times a day promptly. Basic knowledge of construction equipment, like graders, scrapers, booms, and loaders. Ability to properly secure cargo using chains and load-binding devices on equipment. Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with State and federal regulations. Self-motivated, coachable, shows honesty and integrity. Hourly Pay is based on experience. Twic card for port access. Must be reliable, punctual, and have good time management. Must keep the Truck and Trailer well-maintained and clean. Must be able to perform physically strenuous work outdoors in all types of weather. Inspect trucks before and after each trip, identifying any mechanical issues needing repair. Attention to detail, great communication, and able to follow directions from dispatcher. Familiar with permits and curfew times. Early start times, must be able to work extended hours and have a flexible schedule. Following traffic laws, maintaining safe driving habits, and being aware of your surroundings on the road.

Required Skills:

Class A CDL license with current DOT Medical Card Minimum age 25 Excellent driving and problem-solving skills 5 years of experience driving 3 years of verifiable experience hauling construction equipment Clean driving record - No accidents/violations in the past 3 yrs Ability to pass pre-employment/random drug testing.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to safely climb up and on trucks and equipment
