This role offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, delivering exceptional service while maintaining a flexible schedule of 3 to 4 days per week. You'll be responsible for safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. Open availability is preferred to accommodate various routes and schedules. Duties Safely operate box trucks, including manual transmission models, to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and manual lifting techniques. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving to ensure personal and cargo safety. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, heavy lifting, and moving inventory. Familiarity with route driving, load securing, and vehicle safety inspections. Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus; certification preferred but not required. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous; valid driver's license required for driver classification.
