Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles to transport freight, equipment, or passengers efficiently and securely. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Safely operate different vehicle types including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers for local or over-the-road (OTR) routes Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate and timely deliveries across designated routes Load and unload freight or cargo with proper manual handling techniques while following logistics cargo handling procedures Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for transporting dangerous goods Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety and maintenance needs are addressed promptly Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and compliance records in accordance with company policies Assist with truck loading and unloading processes to ensure cargo is secured properly for safe transportation Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving or delivery driving with a focus on route driving or freight transportation Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not mandatory depending on route requirements Knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures including freight handling for flatbed or tanker trucks Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently Understanding of hazardous materials regulations and dangerous goods transportation standards Strong manual handling skills with attention to safety protocols during load & unload activities Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits in compliance with DOT regulations Join us as a Driver and be part of a team that values safety, professionalism, and exceptional service. $22.00 per hour
