This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and dry van, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. You'll be the backbone of our logistics network, responsible for transporting goods efficiently while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. R esponsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated and dry van trailers on designated routes. No touch freight. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to reach delivery destinations on time while optimizing routes for fuel efficiency and safety. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's safety and compliance with DOT standards. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or issues encountered during transit. Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record, demonstrating a minimum of 2 years experience in commercial truck driving. Proven experience with route driving, delivery driving, and freight transportation in various environments including refrigerated and dry van trailers. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations related to hours of service, load securement, and safety protocols. Ability to navigate using GPS systems confidently while maintaining focus on road safety at all times.
