In this energetic role, you will operate various commercial trucks, including front loader, rear loader, and roll-off trucks, to transport sensitive documents safely and responsibly. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, and roll-off trucks, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and state transportation laws Load, transport, and unload shredding containers efficiently while ensuring secure handling of sensitive materials in accordance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable Conduct routine vehicle inspections for mechanical issues, including air brake systems and manual transmissions, performing minor repairs or reporting maintenance needs promptly Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, unloading, and outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with hazard regulations Maintain accurate route logs, delivery records, and incident reports; communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs; address inquiries related to waste management services Ensure proper load & unload procedures are followed to prevent damage or spills; assist with heavy lifting when necessary Skills Proven experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, and roll-off trucks in municipal waste management or solid waste collection environments Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, hazard materials handling (if applicable), and safety protocol adherence Mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs; familiarity with air brake systems and manual transmissions is preferred Excellent driving skills with a clean record in commercial truck driving; experience with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during load & unload activities; outdoor work experience is highly valued Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and solid waste management practices ensures compliance at all times Outstanding customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities to foster positive client interactions Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise meets environmental stewardship!
