Job Description

Early Morning Route Driver | Work Independently | 4 Day Work Week Like working on your own? Prefer early mornings, open roads, and being done with work while everyone else is still at the office? This might be a good fit. Beckmann's Bakery is looking for a full time Route Delivery Driver to deliver our breads and baked goods to grocery stores throughout the area. This is an EARLY morning job. Our drivers start around 2:00 AM. If you are not comfortable consistently getting up and working in the middle of the night, this probably isn't the job for you. For the right person, though, the schedule has some real advantages. You avoid most traffic, spend much of your day working independently, and work a 4 day schedule.
What the job is like:
You will have your own delivery route and spend most of your shift on the road and working independently. You will load and drive a company delivery vehicle, deliver products to grocery stores, stock and rotate our products, manage inventory and returns, and keep your route organized. You are not sitting in an office and you won't have a manager looking over your shoulder all day. You do need to be friendly and professional with grocery store receivers and employees. Good relationships with our stores are important. But most of your day is spent working independently and managing your own route. This job may be a good fit if you: Like working independently Don't mind being awake when most people are sleeping Enjoy driving and being on the move Prefer a job where the day goes by quickly Are dependable and show up on time Can work without constant supervision Are organized and can manage a routine Are comfortable doing physical work and stocking product
