Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver of a 26 foot Box truck, automatic Box truck and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes.,OTR .This role is perfect for motivated drivers who thrive on navigating diverse transportation challenges, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will operate a 26 foot box truck equipped for freight and cargo, contributing to our commitment to exceptional service and safety compliance.
Looking for Drivers who do OTR.Daily pre and post inspections are a must. Duties Safely operate box trucks, including trailer in back with lift gate and flatbeds,using pallets on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight across multiple locations. Navigate using ELD systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, handling logistics cargo with care to prevent damage or safety hazards Ensure all deliveries are documented accurately, including load manifests, delivery receipts, and safety logs. Maintain vehicle safety by conducting pre-trip inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, trucking laws, and safety protocols during every journey. Requirements Valid commercial driver's non CDL license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving with manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with logistics and cargo handling. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving. Ability to operate GPS navigation systems ,namely ELD confidently for route planning and adjustments. Experience with truck loading/unloading processes using manual handling techniques or equipment as needed. Strong understanding of over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and route driving best practices.
