CDL-A LOCAL DRIVER

LARGE RETAILER

We are hiring CDL-A Company Drivers for a dedicated large-retailer account based out of Shafter, California . This is a local, home-daily position operating throughout Southern California. Drivers haul dedicated retail freight with approximately 2-3 stops per route , followed by a backhaul returning to the distribution center. This position is a strong opportunity for drivers looking for daily home time, dedicated freight, no-touch loading and unloading, newer equipment, and a consistent local operation . HOME TIME & SCHEDULE

Home Time:

Home Daily Drivers return home after their local work assignments. Days Off Drivers typically receive 2 consecutive days off per week .

Typical days off may include:

Monday / Tuesday Tuesday / Wednesday Wednesday / Thursday Thursday / Friday Weekend Work Weekend availability is required/expected. Drivers should be comfortable working weekends because days off are generally scheduled during the week.

Dispatch Window Primary dispatch window:

3:00 PM

•9:00 PM Drivers should be prepared for afternoon and evening departures.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should meet the following basic requirements: Valid Class A CDL Minimum 6 months of CDL-A experience Meet applicable carrier hiring requirements Acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer Ability to work scheduled weekends Ability to work afternoon/evening dispatch windows Ability to report to the Shafter-area distribution center Live within the applicable hiring area

Hiring Area:

Generally within a 50-mile radius of Shafter, California . Additional qualifications, background requirements, and hiring standards may apply.

This is a local dedicated position , but it is not necessarily a Monday-Friday schedule .
