Overview Join our dynamic behavioral health team as a Driver and Group Facilitator, where your energy and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges. In this vital role, you will provide safe transportation for clients to and from treatment sessions, facilitate engaging group activities, and support clients' progress through compassionate care and structured interventions. Duties Safely transport clients to appointments, therapy sessions, community activities, and other scheduled outings while adhering to all safety protocols. Facilitate group activities designed to promote social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral management in accordance with individualized treatment plans. Assist with intake procedures by gathering vital signs, medical history, and behavioral observations to support clinical assessments. Monitor client behavior during transportation and group sessions using de-escalation techniques to ensure safety and positive engagement. Maintain accurate medical documentation including medication administration records, behavioral data collection, and incident reports in electronic health records (KIPU) while respecting HIPAA regulations. Requirements Prior experience working in behavioral health. Knowledge of crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies for individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral distress. Ability to operate vehicle safely while maintaining awareness of client needs; valid driver's license required. Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, first aid, CPR certification preferred. RAD-T required. Experience working with mental health or substance use disorders is highly desirable. Strong skills in behavior intervention, client communication, data collection, and maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
