Sonora Lumber , a Nation's Best Holdings, LLC company, is seeking candidates for our CDL Delivery Driver position at our Sonora, CA location. Safely deliver building materials and other products to customers and job sites Load, unload, and secure materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment Operate a forklift to load and unload delivery trucks, customer vehicles, and trailers Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure loads are properly secured and delivered safely and on time Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude Communicate effectively with customers and team members Assist with loading, unloading, stocking, and general yard or warehouse duties as needed Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and safe driving practices Perform other duties as assigned What Does It Take to Be Successful as a CDL Driver? High school diploma or equivalent required Valid CDL driver's license with an acceptable driving record Construction or building materials experience preferred, but not required At least one year of forklift operating experience required Piggyback forklift experience preferred Willingness to travel locally for deliveries and pick-ups Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Results-oriented with the ability to serve customers and teammates with humility while exemplifying Nation's Best values Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible Ability to frequently stand and walk throughout the workday Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and safely lift up to 100 pounds with assistance Ability to handle large, awkward, or oversized materials and stock merchandise in overhead areas Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions Willingness to work overtime as business needs require
