Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class A Super Ten Driver to join our team. The role involves the safe and efficient operation of Super Ten dump trucks for transporting and delivering materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, and other construction-related materials. The ideal candidate must possess a valid California Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a strong safety record, and a professional attitude toward customer service and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Super Ten dump trucks to transport and deliver construction materials to job sites in a safe and timely manner. - Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) regulations. Safely load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage or spills during transport. Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and materials transported. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules and issues. Perform minor maintenance tasks such as checking oil, fluids, brakes, and tires to ensure vehicle readiness. Report mechanical issues, delays, or accidents promptly to the supervisor or fleet manager. Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle.
Work Environment:
Field-based work requiring extensive driving and physical activity. Overtime, weekend, and night shifts may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications:
Valid California Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Minimum of 2 years of experience driving Super Ten or similar dump trucks. Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Familiarity with Caltrans regulations and best practices for truck operation and maintenance. Ability to operate in varying weather conditions and handle challenging road or site conditions. Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to climb into vehicles, secure loads, and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with construction or aggregate material hauling. Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns within California. Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
