Job Summary We are seeking a reliable Route Driver & Operations Specialist to join our team in Tracy, CA. This dual role involves servicing local restaurant accounts and supporting our collection center's operations. On the road, you will operate a vacuum tanker truck to collect Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and clean grease traps. At the facility, you will manage the offloading of collected UCO into bulk storage, perform equipment maintenance, and prep restaurant grease bins for recirculation. Key Responsibilities Field & Driving Operations (Route Service)

Commercial Driving:

Safely operate our fleet vehicles to service restaurant and commercial kitchen accounts on local routes in the Central San Joaquin Valley, the greater Sacramento region, and the Bay Area.

Vacuum Pump Operations:

Operate truck-mounted vacuum pumps and suction hoses to collect and transfer UCO and service grease traps/interceptors.

Customer Service & Grease Collection:

Act as the face of the company, ensuring grease corrals are left spotless, spills are prevented, bins are cleaned or scheduled for replacement, and collection volumes are accurately logged.

Collection Center Operations Offloading UCO:

Connect truck lines to facility manifold systems and safely pump collected oil into storage containers.

Bin & Tote Reconditioning:

Use high-pressure washers and degreasing equipment to clean, repair, and prep rolling grease bins, lids, and casters before they circulate back to customers.

Equipment & Facility Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance of equipment (such as pumps, generators, and vacuum systems), as well as routine cleaning and maintenance of collection center facility.

Safety & Compliance:

Safely handle machinery and equipment, and complete all required manifests, documentation and recordkeeping. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements License:

Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean DMV driving record.

Endorsements:

Tanker endorsement required.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift, pull, and safely maneuver heavy vacuum hoses (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Mechanical Aptitude:

Comfortable working with vacuum pumps, valves, pressure washers, power tools and hand tools for basic equipment maintenance.

Reliability:

Strong organizational skills to independently manage a daily route schedule.

Availability:

Willing to work occasional early mornings and some weekends.

Communications:

Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing; bilingual (Spanish-English) a plus.

Benefits & Compensation Hourly Wage:

Competitive pay based on experience ($23-$28/hour).

Schedule:

Full time, 30+ hours/week. Flexible daytime shifts with daily home time. Incumbents will generally be assigned to work four days per week.
