Americana Adult Day Center is licensed by the Department of Aging and Department of Public Health to provide a health and wellness day program to seniors. We are seeking an experienced driver to drive a company-owned 14 passenger van to transport seniors to and from our center in Tustin. In addition, the driver may be called upon to assist in other program activities in the center including PT maintenance and food service. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from approximately 7 am to 9 am, 11 am to 1 pm, and 3 pm to 5 pm. Routes and times will be planned and scheduled by the company transportation coordinator. Qualifications The qualified driver must be: 1. At least 20 years old. 3. Holds a clean and valid driver's license. 4. Willing to and capable of performing the tasks assigned to them by their immediate supervisor(s) and/or the center Program Director. 5. Demonstrating competence in helping others by producing a work history and/or references, which can verify this competence. 6. Qualified by education, training, and/or experience to meet the needs of the program and perform the duties assigned. 7. Demonstrating the ability to perform the task assigned successfully. 8. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and physically capable of performing the required duties and assisting frail elderly and disabled adults, as necessary. 9. The ability to speak Mandarin or Farsi is preferred. 10. The driver will provide the center with a health examination, signed by a physician, and a TB clearance, which is not more than 12 months prior to employment or within 7 days of employment and shall provide the center a current certificate of CPR and First Aid training.
