The Bulk Powder Driver is responsible for safely driving a multi-axle double-trailer truck to transport cement powder from the cement mills to the batch plants. Essential Functions of the
Position:
Operates and drives a bulk truck safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT and Holliday rules and regulations. Unloads cement at the batch plant safely and efficiently. Reports any issues while unloading at the batch plant. Perform daily proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Make regular operating adjustments to equipment and hauling material (e.g., secure hatches and hoses). Always wears all required PPE. Ability to work up to 16 hours, with a maximum driving time per day of 11 hours, and able to work according to Hours-of-Service Regulations. Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors and plant personnel.
Skills and Knowledge:
Experience driving a tractor and 2 2-trailer combination commercial vehicle. Experience operating pneumatic controls. Ability to communicate and change delivery route or location when needed.
Requirements:
Must have a valid Class A driver's license and current medical. Tanker endorsement. Must have reliable transportation. Driver record cannot contain any reckless driving offences, DUIs, leaving the scene of an accident, etc. Driver record cannot contain more than 1.5 active points in the last 36 months. Ability to follow written and verbal directions and to complete assigned tasks on schedule. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to work with supervision, receiving instructions/feedback, coaching/counseling and/or action/discipline.

Ability to kneel, reach, or lift up to 50 pounds or more. Ability to climb ladders and carry cement delivery hoses.
