Description of the

Position:

Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard. A successful Reach Forklift Operator will be responsible for unloading and loading all inbound and outbound products, along with moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting.

Load, unload, move, stock, stage, and efficiently store products and materials using powered industrial equipment. Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of products are loaded and shipped. Follow customer requirements and other instructions to ensure load accuracy, product stability, and the safe loading and unloading of all products. Conduct daily inspections of assigned equipment and operate all equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with prescribed work methods and OSHA standards. Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations. Efficiently move products from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, free of damage, and report any quality variances. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly condition. Perform good housekeeping practices, including the "clean as you go" process. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that cannot be self-corrected to leadership. Keep appropriate records and reports to maintain inventory control and security. Assist with physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation. Coordinate as necessary with Customer Service, Transportation, Maintenance, and other departments. Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and report noncompliance when observed. Observe all company safety rules and assist with enforcement as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

M-F From 6:00am - 2:30Pm

Requirements:

High School Diploma, or GED.

Electric Pallet Jack Operator experience, 2-year minimum.

Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.

1 year of experience in a warehousing/distribution environment.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.

Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center: for example, wearing steel toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest or any other standards provided by site leadership.
