Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance! In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles from accident scenes, and ensure safe transport of vehicles. Your expertise in vehicle mechanics, driving, and cargo securement will drive our mission to deliver prompt, reliable service while maintaining the highest safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service. Starting rate is $17-$19/hour, negotiable based on experience. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently. Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs on vehicles to facilitate towing or prepare them for transport. Secure vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct vehicle loading and unloading with precision, ensuring safe vehicle mechanics for truck drivers during recovery operations. Assist customers with roadside assistance needs while providing friendly and professional service. Follow all safety procedures related to vehicle recovery towing, cargo securement, and equipment operation. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and incident reports for record-keeping purposes. Skills Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, automotive mechanics for truck drivers, and cargo securement protocols. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record Skilled in manual transmission operation and proficient in driving various tow truck models including flatbeds. Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly. Ability to load and unload vehicles safely while adhering to safety standards. Exceptional customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities to assist clients effectively. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
