Landscape Crew Leader /
Driver Pay:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience Full-Time | Outdoor Leadership Position | Growth Opportunities Are you an experienced landscape professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a dependable and motivated Landscape Crew Leader/Driver who takes pride in quality work, knows how to lead by example, and is ready to take ownership of a crew and daily route. What You'll Do As a Crew Leader, you will lead and work alongside your crew to ensure properties are maintained safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard. Lead, organize, and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew Assign daily tasks and provide clear direction to crew members Ensure properties are completed on schedule and according to company quality standards Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, planting, weeding, and general landscape maintenance Identify basic irrigation issues and assist with troubleshooting and repairs Safely operate company trucks, trailers, landscaping equipment, and tools Transport employees, equipment, and materials between job sites Inspect completed work before leaving each property Monitor crew productivity, attendance, safety, and overall performance Train and support new employees on proper landscaping techniques and safe work practices Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in clean and working condition Communicate property concerns, job-site issues, and additional work needs to management Follow company safety procedures and ensure crew members do the same Represent the company professionally while working at customer properties What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, communicates well, and is comfortable being responsible for a crew.
Qualifications:
Professional landscape maintenance experience required Previous Crew Leader, Foreman, or leadership experience preferred Knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices Experience with mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, planting, and general horticulture Basic irrigation knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to train, motivate, and provide direction to crew members Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions in the field Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for driving responsibilities Why Join Our Team?
