Job Description

Morrow-Meadows Corporation is accepting applications for full-time Driver for it's Walnut location. Responsibilities Delivers a variety of items to recipients for the purpose of distributing items from internal or external sources over scheduled and/or unscheduled routes to assigned locations and/or individuals. Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner. Load, unload, and organize product inventory into your vehicle throughout the day. Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete. Assists in receiving stock and nonstock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct. Take responsibility of and safely secure the product. Follow scheduled route for daily deliveries. Inspects delivery vehicles daily (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle. Follow Department of Transportation regulations by obeying traffic laws and safety procedures. Completes and maintains records (e.g. delivery log, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable resource information. Answer telephones in a timely and professional manner to assist customers. Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times and treating everyone with courtesy and respect. Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and acceptable driving record. Keep vehicles organized, clean and tidy. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Must be age 21 or older. Valid Class B CDL driver's license. Must have a current Motor Vehicle Report that represents a history of safe and competent driving. Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical performance test, driving test on company equipment. Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles. Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably. Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
