Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport dry van and refrigerated freight from the Shafter DC to retail locations across Southern California. Complete 2-3 deliveries per shift and return to the DC on a dedicated backhaul route. Perform standard pre-trip and post-trip equipment safety checks. Maintain accurate logbooks and DOT compliance.

Home Time:

Home daily.

Days Off:

2 consecutive days off per week (e.g., Mon/Tue, Tue/Wed, Wed/Thu, or Thu/Fri).

Start Times:

Afternoon/Evening dispatch windows (3:00 PM - 9:00 PM).

Equipment:

Modern automatic trucks; slip-seat operation parked on-site at the DC.

Qualifications:

Class A CDL with at least 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience. Must live within 50 miles of the Shafter, CA terminal. Clean driving record and acceptable safety history.

Compensation & Perks:

$1,260 - $1,575 average weekly pay. Full health benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision). W-2 employment with paid time off.
