JOB DESCRIPTION YARD WORKER

The Yard worker reports to:

YARD SUPERVISOR

__________________ The Yard Worker is responsible for stacking, loading, and preparing orders to be shipped and waiting on customers. The yard worker is also responsible to perform any other yard duties as assigned by the yard supervisor. Primary/essential job functions include but are not limited to: £ Treat all customers in a courteous and friendly manner £ Pulling and stacking materials £ Load materials for customers in a safe manner £ Load materials for company deliveries £ Operate a lift truck as required or directed in a safe manner £ Place incoming materials into inventory in the proper location £ Assemble loads as requested by the yard supervisor £ Accompany drivers on deliveries as required £ Maintain proper security in the yard, warehouse, and customer service areas £ Keep the yard area and storage areas clean, neat, and orderly at all times £ Perform maintenance on equipment and tools as requested £ Must be able to lift 100 pounds £ Report any excess or shortages of inventory to the yard supervisor immediately

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
