Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Hotshot Driver to join our logistics team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering urgent freight quickly and safely across various routes, ensuring timely arrivals and exceptional customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving, manual handling, and route navigation will be essential to keep our operations running smoothly. Duties Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, or personal vehicles for rapid delivery of goods to clients and job sites Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Plan efficient routes using mobile devices and GPS tools to meet tight delivery schedules Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and weight handling requirements during all driving activities Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery and addressing any concerns promptly Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance needs to ensure safety and reliability Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or courier services with a focus on heavy lifting and manual handling Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations including DOT standards and safe driving practices Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or commercial trucks Experience with warehouse tasks such as material handling equipment operation (pallet jacks, load & unload) and moving supplies or equipment Excellent route planning skills utilizing mobile devices for real-time navigation updates Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations while maintaining a sense of urgency and efficiency Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries
