Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you'll operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route planning, and cargo handling will keep our logistics moving smoothly. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trucks, adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations Transport automobiles and other cargo securely using specialized equipment for vehicle transportation or freight delivery Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify truck condition, including checking manual transmissions, load securement, and safety features Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo manifests, and delivery documentation following FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently Experience with route driving, freight handling, and delivery driving across diverse environments Familiarity with logistics cargo handling for various types of freight such as hazardous materials, dangerous goods, refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, or tanker shipments Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations Prior experience in truck loading/unloading procedures and manual handling techniques Strong understanding of GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Join us to drive your career forward in a role that values safety, efficiency, and exceptional service.
