Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and commercial driving, with the ability to operate a flatbed tow truck and perform automotive diagnostics and repairs. This role requires a driver who can safely transport vehicles, navigate various road conditions, and handle manual transmission vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for towing vehicles in a safe and efficient mannerResponsibilities:
- Operate a flatbed tow truck to transport vehicles to and from repair facilities, storage facilities, and other destinations as needed.
- Load and unload vehicles from the tow truck, ensuring they are properly secured and transported safely.
- Maintain accurate records of towed vehicles
- Drive safely and responsibly in various road conditions, including inclement weather.
- Use manual transmission vehicles as needed to transport vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) with a tow truck endorsement.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate a tow truck in a safe and efficient manner.
