Job Description
Arrowhead Propane Delivery Truck Driver Job Summary Drivers safely operate a propane bobtail tanker and are responsible for loading and transporting propane to/from customer locations. Drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways, country roads and may operate in tight overhead environments in all types of weather conditions. Drivers must be able to function a smartphone device, a smart tablet and adapt to our advanced routing technology A typical workday for our drivers begins at 7:00 to 8:00 am or as required by the days work load. Required work hours are determined based on legal limits. Work hours vary by route and are typically 8 hours per day. Drivers are restricted to no more than 12 hours per day and 60 hours within a 7 day period. Duties and Responsibilities Operate a class b hazmat vehicle in accordance with the company's rules and safety protocol as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws. Performs pre and post trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard EVIR (Electronic Vehicle Inspection Report). Completes and submits customer invoices as indicated Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation. Requires pushing, pulling and lifting 50 pounds or more and pushing or pulling up to 75 pounds. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. Have a clean driving record without previous DUI arrests or DUIs within the past three years and no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years. Must have a valid DOT Medical Card. Must have reliable transportation. Previous propane delivery experience is a big plus. Other duties as assigned
