Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport heavy equipment and materials to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism, ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently and securely. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment hauling vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Transport heavy equipment to designated job sites or clients, ensuring timely delivery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit. Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or damage during transportation. Ensure proper securing of heavy equipment during transit to prevent movement or damage. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for hauling heavy equipment. Minimum of five years of experience operating commercial vehicles, specifically with hauling heavy equipment. Proven experience in safely transporting heavy loads over various distances. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
