Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver materials efficiently across various job sites and routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to handle diverse cargo will ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction, mining, or infrastructure projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transportation. Navigate complex routes using GPS navigation systems, planning efficient OTR (Over the Road) driving routes that optimize delivery timelines. Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations and hazard communication standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate deliveries, manage freight handling, and ensure timely route execution. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving with tractor-trailers or flatbed trucks. Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or refrigerated trailers preferred. Strong knowledge of
