Haul freight for major shippers on predictable regional routes with regular home time. Drive late-model, well-maintained equipment with modern safety and navigation technology. Responsibilities include safe operation, on-time pickups and deliveries, accurate logs, and DOT-compliant inspections. You'll work closely with dispatch and customers, representing a safety-focused, respectful, and team-oriented culture while building a stable, long-term driving career. Responsibilities Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer on regional routes, ensuring safe and timely delivery of freight Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs Comply with DOT, company safety policies, and all federal and state regulations Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff Secure loads properly and verify freight against bills of lading Use onboard technology and routing tools to maximize efficiency and on-time performance Report maintenance needs promptly and keep equipment clean and road-ready Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and customer-focused service Required Skills CDL-A truck driving DOT regulations compliance Electronic logging systems Freight handling and load securement Defensive driving techniques Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Route planning and time management Use of GPS and in-cab technology Customer and dispatcher communication Paperwork and bill of lading verification
