Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver specializing in aggregate hauling to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to transport aggregate materials efficiently and securely across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and commitment to timely deliveries will ensure the smooth flow of freight while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, trailers for aggregate hauling and other freight transportation needs Comply strictly with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, regulations during all operations Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking load integrity and vehicle condition Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with legal requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit Skills Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial truck driving Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution Experience with freight handling including load & unload procedures for various cargo types such as aggregate, freight, hazardous materials, or dangerous goods Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and safety protocols for truck driving and cargo transport Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual handling tasks safely Join us as a CDL A Truck Driver
