Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tandem Dump Truck CDL Driver and take charge of transporting heavy loads with precision and safety. In this vital role, you will operate tandem dump trucks , ensuring the efficient delivery and unloading of construction materials, debris, or other bulk freight. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and commitment to timely deliveries will keep projects moving forward. Duties Safely operate tandem dump trucks with manual transmission across over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, secure, transport, and unload materials Follow optimized routes for timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining awareness of traffic conditions and route changes Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, compliance with hazardous materials regulations, and proper functioning of all equipment Manage logistics cargo handling efficiently during loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shift reports, incident reports, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly tandem dump trucks in route driving environments Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for logistics cargo handling. Hands-on experience with truck loading/unloading procedures .
