K&B Transportation seeks dependable CDL-A Truck Drivers for OTR and regional refrigerated freight. Operate late model tractors and reefers, ensuring safe, on-time pickups and deliveries across the Midwest and nationwide. Maintain accurate logs, perform thorough pre/post trip inspections, and follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies. Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers while protecting freight integrity and temperature. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated freight OTR and regionally Perform accurate pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip equipment inspections Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety and hours-of-service regulations Maintain accurate electronic logs and required trip documentation Manage reefer unit operation, including temperature settings and monitoring freight integrity Deliver freight on time while following assigned routes and schedules Communicate effectively with dispatch, safety, and customers regarding loads and schedules Secure and protect freight to minimize damage, claims, and product loss Follow company policies, procedures, and defensive driving practices at all times Represent K&B Transportation professionally on the road and at customer facilities Required Skills CDL-A tractor-trailer operation Refrigerated (reefer) freight handling DOT and FMCSA regulation compliance Electronic logging device (ELD) use Pre- and post-trip inspections Trip planning and time management Defensive driving techniques Temperature control and monitoring Load securement procedures Basic truck and reefer unit troubleshooting
