Duties Load and unload Crude oil ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport. Willingness and ability to work outdoors sampling and transferring oil for an hour or more at origins and destinations in all weather conditions Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped with tanker , ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Transport hazardous materials, including dangerous goods, over local routes with precision and care, following all safety protocols. Use GPS navigation systems to plan efficient delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries within designated areas. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and cargo to maintain vehicle safety and compliance standards. Maintain accurate logs of mileage, deliveries, and safety checks in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any route or cargo issues promptly. Requirments Truck Driver must have clean driving record CDL Driver must have Hazmat/tanker endorsement NO major violations, including speeding in excess of 14 mph over the maximum-posted speed limit NO reckless and/or careless driving violations No more than three moving violations during the previous 36 months No more than two moving violations during the previous 24 months Must have a current Medical Card Must have reliable transportation Must have a minimum of two years' experience (verifiable) driving like vehicles Drivers must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes Proven experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with tractor-trailers or tanker trucks. Knowledge of truck driving safety standards under DOT regulations and adherence to FMCSA guidelines.
