This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including Truck & enclosed trailer, Roll back flatbed, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely deliveries, maintain compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations, and uphold the highest standards of handling and cargo security. Your expertise in transportation will be instrumental in supporting our commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks, on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries. Load, secure, unload, and verify freight ensuring proper handling for safe transport Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes while complying with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Transport automobiles or other specialized cargo with precision and care. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards. Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to logistics cargo handling protocols. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains. Skilled in securing vehicles for transport. Proficient in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently with manual handling skills for cargo management. Familiarity with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, FMCSA standards. Excellent driving record with experience in over-the-road (OTR) routes involving long-distance travel across multiple states or regions.
