Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting aggreigate and and material to/from various locations. This position requires a valid Class A driver's license and the ability to operate different types of trucks.Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks to transport materials and equipment.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment when needed, such as excavation equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports on a daily basis
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with mountain and weather related experience
- Ability to operate various types of trucks, including flatbed, dump truck, and water truck
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members
