Job Description
Ed's Garage, Inc. is a family-owned heating oil and service company that has been serving Eastern Connecticut since 1947. We are looking for a dependable CDL Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CDL driver who wants to get off the long-haul road and work locally, or for a dependable CDL driver looking to build a career in the heating industry. What You'll Do Deliver heating oil to residential and commercial customers throughout our local service area Safely operate a fuel delivery truck Connect and handle delivery hoses Complete delivery paperwork and required documentation Provide friendly, professional service to our customers Perform routine truck inspections and report maintenance needs Work safely in all weather conditions What We're Looking For Valid CDL with the appropriate endorsements Clean driving record Dependable attendance and punctuality Safe driving habits Ability to work independently Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work Professional and courteous with customers Willingness to work a flexible schedule during the busy heating season Fuel delivery experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person.
