Tanker Endorsement Full Job Description Position Overview:
As a Fueler, you are responsible for ensuring that all tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers are fueled at all times. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Accurately recording and documenting fuel dispersal Loading and unloading diesel fuel while staying compliant with state and federal regulations Taking samples and monitoring fuel level Handling all pertinent records accurately and legibly Reporting all safety issues promptly Following directions in print form and/or by computerized display Maintaining a safe and clean working environment Flexibility to work various or additional shifts, as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Environment:
Varying external weather conditions and temperatures
Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am $24 per hour $5.00 shift differential
Experience:
CDL-A License required (Valid & Active) with Tanker and Hazardous Materials Endorsements 21+ years or older
Skills:
Safety Culture:
Maintain and drive safety policies; drive for accountability of safe practices throughout the shift; secure adequate rest between work assignments, and abide by all DOT regulations Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting, and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights, including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature-controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment - getting on and off equipment throughout the shift Strong communication
Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders daily
Organizational Skills:
Ability to fulfill customer orders promptly; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Working in a team-based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders in a timely manner and with the highest quality
Quality:
Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives
