Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dump Truck Driver and take charge of transporting materials efficiently and safely across various job sites. In this role, you'll operate heavy-duty dump trucks, ensuring timely delivery of construction materials, debris removal, and other freight loads. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials to designated locations. Follow prescribed routes and schedules for route driving, maintaining punctuality and reliability throughout the workday. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues, reporting any concerns promptly. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other operational data in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Assist with loading or unloading freight when necessary, supporting team efforts to meet project deadlines. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries, pickups, and route adjustments as needed. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Proven truck driving experience with dump trucks. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and vehicle operation; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Strong understanding of route driving principles and the ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules or conditions.
