Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to manage various driving tasks, including loading and unloading cargo. Keep in mind that this is a 1099 position. Duties Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for route driving, ensuring timely deliveries. 26ft Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques. Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving route driving. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods as required. Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
