The ideal candidate will be responsible for towing, transporting, and assisting vehicles in a professional and courteous manner while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed and/or wheel-lift tow trucks Respond to roadside assistance and towing calls in a timely manner Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles without damage Perform basic roadside services (jump starts, lockouts, tire changes, winching when applicable) Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers Complete accurate paperwork and digital reports for each call Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and perform basic inspections of tow truck and equipment Represent the company professionally at accident scenes, police impounds, and customer locations Qualifications Valid Connecticut driver's license Clean driving record Prior towing or roadside assistance experience preferred Ability to operate GPS and dispatch software Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to work in all weather conditions Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods Compensation & Benefits Competitive Commission Based Compensation Uniforms provided Health benefits Modern, well-maintained equipment
