Full-time / Part-time Job Description Major Movers Inc. is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and professional Moving Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate has a valid driver's license, enjoys working with a team, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. As a Moving Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating our moving truck while assisting the crew with loading, unloading, and protecting customers' furniture and belongings. Responsibilities Safely drive and operate the moving truck to and from customer locations. Load and unload furniture, boxes, and household belongings. Assist movers with wrapping, padding, and protecting furniture. Properly secure and organize items inside the truck to prevent damage. Assist with carrying heavy furniture and boxes, including navigating stairs when necessary. Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent customer service. Follow company safety procedures and moving best practices. Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area. Work efficiently with the moving crew to complete jobs on schedule. Qualifications Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Previous moving or delivery experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely. Reliable transportation to the job site or designated meeting location. Strong teamwork, punctuality, and a positive attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds or more with assistance when necessary. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
