Local CDL-A Driver - Home Daily Hartford / West Hartford, CT We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local route based in the Hartford, Connecticut area. This position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, weekends off, the same route every day, and home-daily time.

IMPORTANT

Drivers must live within 30 miles of Hartford, CT to qualify. Drivers will haul steel coils secured on wooden pallets inside dry van trailers. This is primarily no-touch freight, but drivers are responsible for securing the freight by nailing wood into the trailer floor.

Pay Starting Pay:

$23.00/hour

Overtime:

$34.50/hour After 12

Months:

$24.00/hour Overtime After 12

Months:

$36.00/hour

Average Weekly Pay:

Approximately $1,366 during the first year

Stop Pay:

$17 per stop Average approximately 10 stops per week

Cancelled Load Pay:

8-hour minimum when applicable New Hire Bonus $500 Transition Bonus Paid in full on the second paycheck

Schedule Monday-Friday Start Time:

Approximately 1:30 PM Route generally operates from 1:30 PM-2:30 AM Saturday and Sunday off Home Daily Dedicated Route West Hartford, CT to Philadelphia, PA and return Drivers run the same dedicated route each day and average approximately 2,300 miles per week . The driver departs West Hartford in the afternoon and travels to Philadelphia, where the trailer is live loaded. The driver is responsible for properly securing the load before returning to the home terminal.
