The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing roadside assistance to customers in need. This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Operate flatbed and wrecker tow trucks to transport vehicles safely. Perform automotive diagnostics and minor repairs as needed on-site. Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during transport. Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery. Maintain accurate records of services provided and vehicle condition. Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide solutions. Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections of towing equipment to ensure safety compliance. Collaborate with dispatchers to respond promptly to service calls. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and diagnostics. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with forklift operation is beneficial but not required. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with towing operations. Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with customers. Previous experience as a mechanic or in automotive repair is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
