Job Description

Overview We are seeking dependable and responsible Student Transportation Drivers to safely transport students to and from school and other approved destinations. This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys driving, is punctual, and can provide a safe and comfortable environment for students. Both part-time and full-time opportunities may be available. Hours vary depending on assigned routes, with most transportation taking place during morning and afternoon school hours. Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school and other designated locations Follow assigned routes and scheduled pickup and drop-off times Operate company-provided vehicles safely and responsibly Ensure students enter and exit the vehicle safely Follow all traffic laws and student transportation requirements Maintain professional and respectful communication with students, families, schools, and company staff Keep the assigned vehicle reasonably clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns Immediately report delays, incidents, accidents, or other transportation issues Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for assigned routes Experience & Requirements Valid driver's license and safe driving record Must have the required student transportation endorsement(s) to transport students OR be willing to complete the required endorsement course For qualified applicants who do not currently have the required endorsement, the company will pay for the required endorsement class if the applicant chooses to complete the process Must meet all applicable state requirements for transporting students Must be dependable, punctual, responsible, and comfortable working with children Ability to safely operate a passenger vehicle for extended periods when assigned longer routes Previous professional driving or student transportation experience is preferred but not required Drivers who already have the required student transportation endorsements are encouraged to apply, but we also welcome applicants who are willing to obtain them with company-paid class assistance.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
