Up to $2,000 in Annual Safety Bonuses. If you are tired of being away from home, this is the role you have been looking for. Maine Oxy is hiring a full-time CDL-A driver based out of our Naugatuck, CT location. You will run consistent Monday through Friday routes delivering specialty gases and supplies to our retail locations, and you will be home every night. As you grow with us, you will be trained to operate microbulk and bulk transport vehicles carrying liquid nitrogen and CO2. This is a real opportunity to expand your skill set and your value as a driver without having to change companies to do it. This is a physical, active role for drivers who like staying engaged throughout the day rather than sitting behind the wheel for long stretches. Day to day, you will: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep safety items in good working order Safely deliver hard goods and compressed gas cylinders, and return empties to the plant for refilling Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents, balancing counts before and after deliveries Build strong customer relationships and help customers manage their gas and hard good levels Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations What You Bring Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes (we will pay for HazMat) At least 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past 4 years No at-fault accidents or moving violations in the previous 3 years Ability to routinely lift 25 to 75 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbs Comfort working outdoors in a range of conditions and staying active throughout the day Experience handling compressed gases is a plus Ready to Drive With Us?
